Introduction and Mission plan

 Hello. 

My name is Michael, and I am going to be self learning programming languages.  I am looking for a possible career change, and Software Engineering is the path I have chosen to explore.  It has come to my attention that a blog can be helpful in the tech world, so I thought I might create one and document my path and progress while I go through the steps of learning programming languages.  

I have started this blog a little late, as I have already been learning different languages, but I haven't completely learning one yet.

With the help of Udemy courses and some free videos found on the internet, I hope to become skilled enough in one or more languages and potentially break into the software engineering field.

So far:

    I have old knowledge of HTML, from when I build my own webpages in the 90s

    Learned some of the basics of CSS

    Completed a Udemy course on TypeScript

    Learned a little bit of JavaScript

    and I am currently about 65% through a Python Udemy course

I plan on taking another Python course after this one, and then moving on into Java.

So there is a brief Mission Statement of who I am, and what I aim to accomplish.

I will make an effort to keep this blog up to date on my progress, on the off chance that there are any other people out there thinking of doing the same thing.  This might be able to give some insight on my personal journey and progress.
